Handpan for meditation — which scale is most relaxing?

I use my handpan for meditation and sound healing sessions. Currently have a D Kurd which is lovely, but wondering if there's a scale that's even more meditative. Thinking about D Integral or F Low Pygmy for my second instrument. Experiences?

D Integral is incredibly meditative. The way the notes blend into each other creates this almost trance-like quality. Perfect for breathwork sessions.

F Low Pygmy is my meditation go-to. The lower pitch is deeply grounding. I play it during my morning meditation every day.

Am I the only one who thinks the whole "handpan = meditation" thing is limiting the instrument? It's a percussion instrument! Play it fast, play it loud, bring it to a jam session. D Kurd is beautiful for calm stuff sure, but try Hijaz at 140bpm and tell me it doesn't slap.

OK I take back what I said earlier about meditation being limiting. I just had a 2-hour session with my Kurd and completely lost track of time. The handpan is probably the most intuitive instrument in the world — you don't need lessons, you don't need theory, you just play and it sounds beautiful. Every session becomes a trance, a journey. You start with one note and before you know it you're somewhere else entirely. No other instrument does that to me.
