Peter Musser designs and crafts all parts of these unique hand-made tumbas, congas, and quintos.  Seen here are drums made of  pepperwood from northern California and Oregon, a species with wonderful resonant tonal qualities and unique grain patterns not found in other wood.  Peter chooses designs of brilliant stripes or patterns of fire that burst from the drum.  He selects the finest bull-hides for drum heads, and makes all the steel hardware to create                                                                                   these totally unique instruments.                    Drums can be custom-made for your individual  preferences.                                                                                   Each custom-built drum is dated and numbered.
